Training Practice

INFORMATION FOR PATIENTS

Please note, this practice has been approved as an Educational Environment for the training of Health Care Professionals including GP Trainees, Foundation doctors, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Pharmacists, Student Nurses and Physician Associates.

GP Trainee doctors are Qualified doctors who are undertaking additional training to become General Practitioners.  These doctors are on placement with us to gain experience before taking their final exams and working in primary care.

The Foundation (FY) doctors are Qualified doctors gaining experience in General Practice and community before finalising their career speciality pathway.  These doctors will have slightly longer consultation times.

This approval means the practice and doctors have achieved a number of set standards assessed by Health Education England working across Kent, Surrey and Sussex acting on behalf of the General Medical Council (GMC).

If you would prefer to see one of our regular GPs and not see an FY doctor, please let the reception staff know.

Other Health Care Professionals in the Practice may include; Physician Associates, Student Nurses, Paramedics, Pharmacists as well as doctors who are training to be GPs.  We hope that you will support us with this training of our NHS Colleagues.
